The Ala
Moana Jaycees is an organization of young men and women between 21 and 39 years of
age. The primary emphasis of the Junior Chamber is the development of valuable
organizational, business, and leadership experience among our members.
Anchored by the 65 words of our Jaycee Creed, we aim to enhance our lives and careers
while making positive a contribution to our community.
Through our involvement in various activities, we learn to manage priorities, handle
finances, and develop our social and leadership skills. Members enjoy social mixers,
sports, educational workshops, management training, and other opportunities to
network with people who have similar interests. Our most valuable experience is
gained when we apply these skills through service projects in our community, creating a
real win-win situation.
The Ala Moana Jaycees was chartered
in October, 1963, and is affiliated with the Hawaii Jaycees, the United States Junior
Chamber of Commerce, and Junior Chamber International. As part of an international
organization of young leaders, we offer unparallelled networking opportunities locally,
nationally, and globally. We urge you to contact us for more information!
