| Kathleen Ogata Nominated
For Hawaii Jaycees State President! |
The Mid-Year Board Meeting saw our very own Kathleen Ogata nominated as a
candidate for the office of Hawaii Jaycees State President. Kathleen has been a
Jaycee for over 12 years, and led our chapter as the 26th President of the Ala Moana
Jaycees. She has served in numerous positions at the State Level and was involved in
assisting the Honolulu Chinese Jaycees bring the Jaycee world to Hawaii, serving as the
Secretariat of the 52nd Annual Junior Chamber International World Congress.
Currently, she is serving our chapter, district, and state as the District V (Greater
Honolulu) Director. Kathleen's Y2K theme is
"Do It With A.L.O.H.A." She firmly believes that the keys to success are a
positive Attitude, empowering Leadership, Opportunities to go beyond
our comfort zones, making Heroes our people, and sharing the Aloha Spirit!
